Buddhists believe that this site was visited by Gautama Buddha himself, and it is regarded as one of the ‘ Solosmasthana ’, meaning one of the 16 most sacred places due to the Buddha having historically visited them. Always remember when going to any temple that you must remove your shoes, and ensure that your shoulders and knees are respectfully covered.
